FiTech EFI bolts in in place of a traditional 4bbl carb and features four injectors and closed loop control and self tuning. EFI units start at $858, plus fuel pump, filters, fittings and installation. A basic FiTech EFI installation is $1850 including all parts and labor. SOLD! This is a 5 speed manual transmission Volvo 240. It is a very solid driver, in great shape for it's age. This is a one own car that has been well maintained. We have worked to refresh, update, and perform any maintenance on it to make this a very reliable daily driver. This work included rust repair on the underside, so the body is 99% rust free. There is still a small amount of under-body rust, but it's remarkably clean for a Minnesota car. We recently acquired this 1963 International Metro Mite CM-75. It's a perfect example of a vehicle that many people would dismiss as junk that should be scrapped. We see it differently and see a sort of rat rod shop truck. We'll seal up the body, make it solid and install a modern drivetrain. Maybe a turbocharged AWD chassis capable of carrying 2000lbs in the back and towing 3500 lbs...

This car was bought as an abandoned project and had the V-8 swap performed to enter the Grassroots Motorsports (GRM) $2004 challenge in 2004. The builders returned in 2005 to take the overall win at that event. We then bought it and used it at autocrosses and track days before being put away for several years.
The build was done very well, but on a budget, so work was put into updating the cooling system, doing maintenance, installing a new stereo, and hooking the heat up again. It’s ready for daily driver / track day use!
